Fernandez Jewelers doesn’t just “sell” jewelry, they also buy gold and silver. As the poster above and below denote, “Fernandez Jewelers: COMPRAMOS ORO Y PLATA | WE BUY GOLD & SILVER.” They asked we create a bold 23″ x 29″ poster(‘s) to remind current and perspective mall patrons of this service.

With just a week in public view, we are happy to report that the “Fernandez Jewelers: COMPRAMOS ORO Y PLATA | WE BUY GOLD & SILVER,” poster(‘s) have produced a noticeable increase in foot-traffic, (According to Fernandez Jewelers management).

We also designed some sharp business cards for the Fernandez Jewelers staff. The imagery employed for the front and back of business card was strategic. The front of business card is supposed to convey a loving feeling and exemplify Fernandez Jewelers’ focus of/on engagement rings. The back of business card is supposed to showcase their expansive array of different types of jewelry offerings.

Parras Auto Repair commissioned REPUBLIC Design Company for the redesign and “refreshing” of their Parras Auto Repair identity and marketing collateral/outdoor signage pieces.

The top two items are their newly revamped business cards (front & back). The following piece is their 20″ x 52″ Coroplast/Outdoor Sign. A strong, consistent, bold message is imperative for effective branding and brand-name recognition.

California Body Shop

-Had the opportunity to swing by California Body Shop in Oxnard, CA., to say hello to our client and good friend Aldo Vasquez. The body shop is “kinda” on my way to work (“kinda”, ’cause it’s 1 block out of my way [-no worries]), and to my surprise; Aldo finally (-kidding, Aldo) put up his 16″ x 96″ main outdoor coroplast sign…

Tucked away in the back of the Shop was Aldo’s “pride-&-joy”. A 1960, GMC Suburban “Carryall”, complete with its killer Chameleon paint-job! When we created the back-side of his business card, we were provided with a high resolution image, and had never had the opportunity to see the actual vehicle… Until today!

It’s a “beaut”! One instinctively is inclined to see the vehicle from all different angles.

Aldo Vazquez of “California Body Shop” commissioned REPUBLIC design company to fully design and implement a comprehensive identity-package for his new, body shop business.

Exemplifying his uncompromising craftsmanship in this uniquely, chameleon painted, 61′ Chevy Suburban, (pictured on the back-side of his business card), our client was still in-need of a more-readily identifiable logo. Playing off of the classic California license plate brand-equity, we devised this “mock-license plate” identity.

With business cards, coroplast outdoor signs, and outdoor vinyl-cut stickers, California Body Shop is “ready for business”!

Working with Jesus Chavez of JC RESIDENTIAL DESIGN, REPUBLIC initiated and created a comprehensive identity system for his firm. The project involved creating an original identity that would encapsulate all of the elements of his PLANNING | PROJECT MANAGEMENT | CAD design firm, along with his initials. Next, we created business cards and 24″ x 36″ Outdoor Project (Coroplast) Signs for him to distribute,  as well as place at his various project location sites.
